ELLE MACHO
Elle Macho is a TransAtlantic & TransPacific power-pop rock trio based in Nashville, TN. Started as a side-project by renowned singer-songwriters Butterfly Boucher (AU), David Mead Jr. (US) and touring drummer Lindsay Jamieson (UK) (Ben Folds) Elle Macho’s international brand of rock ’n roll is sexy-prog pop best suited to a basement dance party - if you're lucky you might catch one of their secret Club Macho shows, literally in their home basement rehearsal space. The band’s songwriting, arrangement and versatile vocal chops (all 3 members sing) shine through on 2012’s uber-cool guitar-driven IMPORT (“This is Not A Love Song,” “Allez La Danse” and “Bombs”), and 2016’s club-ready & sexy globetrotting VOVO (“Miss Mali” and “Global Line Dance”), co-produced by Grammy-hyphenate Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Avett Brothers, Lumineers). Next for Elle Macho a Summer 2018 release also co-produced Hewitt, followed by Club Macho and a U.S./World Tour.
